Birra Messina: Growth in consumption

A study by Istituto Piepoli finds that 44% of Sicilians appreciate local beers, which will be always more the symbol of tomorrow's New Normal.

A study by Istituto Piepoli and Birra Messina titled: “Beer and sociability in Sicily: mirror of the changing times“, reveals that for 7 out of 10 Sicilians, beer has been the most consumed drink in recent months. Win points also special beers, loved by 1 out of 4 Sicilians. For 60% of Sicilians, beer is the most socializing drink, even surpassing the two must-haves of socializing, coffee (14%) and wine (less than 20 %).
